Heroin Arrest

PRESS RELEASE

Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey announced today his office arrested an area man for Drug Trafficking and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Arrested was Jeremy D. Mott, age 27, of 410 West Market Street, Celina, Ohio. Mr. Mott was arrested on July 12, 2011 during a traffic stop after officers witnessed a drug deal take place near a business on Grand Lake road near Havemann Road.

Mr. Mott was the driver of a 2001 Saturn which was seized upon his arrest. He was found in possession of Heroin as well as a marijuana pipe. Deputies were assisted by the Celina Police Department as well as the Grand Lake Task Force. Mr. Mott was also the subject of several tips sent to the Sheriff’s Office regarding his drug dealing on the Sheriff’s website www.mercercountysheriff.org. Sheriff Grey urges citizens to get involved and report drug issues.
