• On 5/05/16 a deputy of the Sheriff’s Office took a theft report from a resident in Jefferson Township. A cell phone was stolen out of a car parked at the residence on Schelich Dr. The phone is believed to have been taken on 5/4/16 between 11:20 PM and 12:00 AM. The phone was a black Samsung Galaxy 5 smart phone with a blue case on it.
• On 4/24/2016 a burglary report was taken at a home on Menchhofer Rd. in Butler Township. Stolen from the residence was a 32’ Speler flat screen television, a 50” Hisense flat screen, a .22 semi-automatic rifle (possibly Winchester), and a .20 gauge, (unknown make) single-shot shotgun. The theft took place between 2:00 PM on 4/23/16 and 8:30 AM on 4/24/2016.
• On 2/27/16 a deputy of the Sheriff’s Office took a report of stolen livestock at a farm on Kuck Rd in Center Township. There were 2 sows and 10 heritage pigs taken from the barn. The owner described some of the livestock as being red wattle and mangalitsa pigs. The suspect vehicle is possibly a smaller, green truck with a cab. The theft is believed to have taken place possibly on Thursday 2/25/16 in the afternoon.
• On 2/3/16 a deputy was dispatched to the St Charles Seminary on US RTE 127 in regards to a theft from the chicken barn. Stolen was a GQF egg incubator machine and a GQF hatcher machine, both white in color. The recording device for the security camera system was also stolen. This incident is believed to have taken place sometime between the evening of 2/2/16 and 2/3/16.
