•On 8/21/2016 a deputy of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office took a theft report from a Tomlinson Road resident in Union Township. Stolen was a black 1997 Harley Davidson Super Glide motorcycle. The motorcycle was taken from inside the garage sometime between 3:30 PM on 8/19/216 and 3:00PM on 8/21/2016.
•On 8/18/2016 a breaking and entering report was taken from a resident on US RTE 33 in Blackcreek Township. The male reported that he had a Stihl 18” bar chain saw, a two wheeled Honda power washer (gray in color), a red two wheeled air compressor and two full red plastic gas cans (5 and 6 gallons) stolen from inside a garage. The theft is believed to have taken place sometime within the last two weeks of the reporting date.
•On 8/17/2016 a deputy working the grounds at the Mercer County Fair took a theft report from a vendor who was set up to sell jewelry and gifts during the fair. Reported to be stolen was about 25 Zan brand neoprene face masks taken. A few of the masks were 1/2 face masks, but a majority of them were full face masks. Also, some were solid in color and others had a design on them. The masks range in price from $11.95 to $14.95, and are estimated to be worth over $500 total. The theft took place between 11:00PM on 8/16/16 and 10:00AM on 8/17/16.
•On 8/13/2016 a theft report was taken by at deputy at Bernie’s Farm Market on Evans Road in Union Township. It was reported that $240 in cash was taken from the money box. Sometime overnight on 8/12 – 8/13 an unknown person had entered the building and took the money. Entry appeared to have been made through a window.
•On 8/11/2016 a deputy of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Marathon Pipe Co on Hellwarth Rd in Hopewell Township in regards to a theft. Stolen were two Milwaukee impacts, one is a ¼ inch drive and the other is a ½ inch drive. Both impacts had an 18 volt battery with them. A Milwaukee tool bag was missing as well. This is believed to have happened sometime between the evening hours on 8-9-16 and the morning hours of 8-10-16.
