• On 2/9/2017 a deputy responded to 4010 US Route 127 Apt. D in regards to a burglary that had occurred. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the adult female tenant who advised that her apartment had been broken into and ransacked.  A Kindle Fire and (5) DVD’s were taken.  This is believed to have taken place sometime a few weeks prior to it being reported.
  • On 2/7/2017 the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint about tires being dumped in a ditch in the area of Cottonwood Rd and Kittle Rd in Franklin Township. A deputy responded to the area and learned the property was owned by the Franklin Township Trustees. Photographs were taken of the tires and it was found that there were 7 tires total, all looking pretty old and some had dirt clumped inside of them.  It is unknown exactly when the dumping took place, but was reported soon after the littering was discovered.
